Hydroussa Hotel

A little piece of Paradise ! Presently staying at this Hotel for a week and could not be happier. It’s not a luxurious place, rather a quaint , traditional Zen Greek Island Hotel. Our room has a beautiful view of the Beach and yesterday we were graced with a full moon Luna Rosa. It’s such a gift to have a green lawn with Umbrellas and Beach Chairs at your disposal, when you walk out the door from the Reception area. Step down a few steps , and you have a wonderful beach, protected by 3 large jetty’s , so you have your choice of both in a 1 minute walk. The water is very clean. The Staff could not have been more attentive, and catered to all our needs. If you are looking for value, and relaxation with a low decibel count , you find it Here!

Excellent location. This is the first Xenia of the country so it boasts the best location in the island, at Magazia beach. Great staff, although understaffed, are always eager to help, however breakfast and room size is not what you would expect. I would certainly go again for its location and its people. Be quick to snatch the good rooms as these go fast by repeating visitors (all share the same views, in front of the beach, but 4 of them are more spacious)

Hydroussa really favours family vacation. What the management of Hydroussa has succeeded in, is to keep the hotel quiet in the popular sandy beach of Magazia. The rooms are very spacious overlooking the Aegean sea and if you are on the first floor what you hear and see all day long is the sea. The rooms architecture from the famous Doxiadis office is such that when the right windows are open you don't need airconditioning! It is an old hotel with renovated floors and bathrooms in an excellent position by the sea. The one rainy night during our vacation when we reached the room we opened the window and wow you could see a changing work of art with the lightnings spreading light to the clouds, the sea, the sand... It was really impressive! Evangelia and Giannis did their best to give us confort with their quiet manners and provide us with an excellent breakfast. Thank you guys!

The location is fantastic right on the beach yet away from hustle and bustle…Very peaceful stay. You can go to sleep listening to the sea, even take a photo of the sunrise from your bed (as I did!). Each room has its own private balcony, with stunning views. Has beautiful interiors, and exteriors. The breakfasts were fantastic, lots of variety, plus different traditional Greek pastries every day. The staff could not have been more helpful or friendly. Certainly plan to return and stay for more than 4 nights!

The location is just perfect, visiting Skyros every year we finally found the most conveniently located place, first of all, it's straight on the best beach in Magazia, close to very good taverna Stefanos and also within working distance to Skyros hora through the upward path, so we didn't use the car at all.

Very polite, always with a smile and willing to help in any way they could.Fantastic location. A few meters from the sea. Nothing compares to falling asleep under the sounds of the waves.Private parking is another big plus for the area, as in high season is almost impossible to park around there and there is always the risk of someone scratching your car.

I loved it! This hotel was exactly what i needed for my summer holidays. A very relaxing ambience just in front of a great sandy beach. We had a very nice view from our room from where we could even hear the sea at night. Our room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable. There is no wifi but at the lobby. The breakfast was included and it was delicious. There are some "tavernas" and bars in walking distance. Some of them have sunbeds on the beach.

A place to calm down and relax, a great lawn area over the shore, where you can sit or lay enjoying the sun and the smell and sounds of the sea. Spacy rooms with balconies all facing the sea, kind and helpful staff, free parking, adequate breakfast included in the price.

I can't say enough good things about this hotel. My husband and I spent here one week in August. We had a spaceful room on the first floor which had an amazing view to the sea. Every morning I woke up around six in order not to miss the sunrise. At that moment everything was so relaxing. Everyone was so polite and helpful that we really felt welcome and like home. The room seemed to be partially renovated. The breakfast was included everything seemed to be homemade and was delicious. There is free wifi but only at the lobby
